Strange Days Indeed is Amanda Maxwell's second collection of short stories with illustrations by fellow New Zealander, Jason Rew.

It features stories that have been published in the likes of Apartamento and Antipodes - The American Journal of Australasian Literature, or read at The Melbourne Writers Festival or on ABC Radio.

There are stories about drowning elephants, drawing contests, trampolines and Taika Waititi. Stories set in beach shacks, bomb bunkers, bars and mirrors. Stories told by children, adults, old crushes and ghosts. They are all, indeed, a bit strange.
